I think I'm just gonna go for the white one...

My wife's not happy with you :) Expect her to pound you one in the arm if you show up at BPG.

Good choice.

This is the best (comparable) we can find up here:

a bunch of work to restore the heater box, etc.

Not much work to do the body bushings...you can do that yourself.  Some instructions on gnttype....wir ing harness is harder

A lot of broken parts does not make you a racer; it makes you a slow learner.

it is easy...on some northern cars, the bolts are rusted into the nuts welded in the body and that causes a problem.  An impact wrench usually is the safest way to break them loose...imo

Well...it's not the going to be the white one now, he decided not to sell it.

And I'm just not getting a good vibe for the gray one.

It seems a little tighter, but I also installed the GNX bushings. The biggest issue is if the bolts are rusted and break. The rear bumper has to be removed for the two back most positions.

FWIW-I was told by a local once he realized the bumpers need to come off he "flew" through the rest of them, having wasted days prior.

I'm not getting the gray one either...no heat, and a bunch of other stuff that would make it un-drivable for a better part of half the year here in AL or take too much money and effort to make it so I could.  And my friend decided to keep the white one.
