a bunch of work to restore the heater box, etc.

Not much work to do the body bushings...you can do that yourself.  Some instructions on gnttype....wir ing harness is harder

it is easy...on some northern cars, the bolts are rusted into the nuts welded in the body and that causes a problem.  An impact wrench usually is the safest way to break them loose...imo

FWIW-I was told by a local once he realized the bumpers need to come off he "flew" through the rest of them, having wasted days prior.

I'm not getting the gray one either...no heat, and a bunch of other stuff that would make it un-drivable for a better part of half the year here in AL or take too much money and effort to make it so I could.  And my friend decided to keep the white one.
