Yes. I cannot stand IE. It seems to run well and run faster than IE on my machine.

Try Firefox. Just load and use. You can access all your mail programs with no problems and put them on a tool bar if you.  I use IE8 and Firefox and happy with both.

I am not enamored with IE 8.  I don't like the display that pops up when I click on History.

And, I got used to being able to kill all those screwy banners that slow some boards down to a crawl.

8 does seem a little faster than the prior

I've tried most of them.

IE 8 - works well But I wish they had kept the user interface the way it was.
Stuff is harder to find in the new version. Seems like they tried to copy
         Google

Firefox - I se it for myspace and facebook including the apps. but thats it.
I've found itmore susceptable to malicious code, and had to fix it a
             few time.

Google Chrome - Works well, ut uses too much of the system resources
too keep it updated, It also wants to keep adding all the
                          stupid screen wasting tool bars.

Safari - functions well, but it also likes to use too much of the system resources
for updates. Whenever it updates, it tries to add I-tunes and some other
Apple crap that I have no ise for.  (with the exception of quicktime)
Safari also likes to substitute its own fonts and sometimes messes up
            graphical displays.

I'll likely try Opera next.

Safari is not legal for sale to registered Eyetalians so that is not a course of action.

Now, we have the gay PS in here trolling...thi s board is going to the dogs fast.  Need to change my user name before whatever he has rubs off.
