coil pack?

ok i was installing my new coil pack to module,   sliding on those spade connectors ,   well  i broke one off right at the  rubber type sealant.
is this fixable?  i hate to throw away my only new coil pack

I'll say it's junk. You have to be ultra careful sliding those on/off.

Id sure try it. It is already broken, I dont think you can make it worse.

well that was futile........ .
after i chopped chewed scraped the black type sealant off i hit this hard white stuff   more scraping   an  f@#$  just cut through the wire that feed the connector,   oh well lets  see how far i gotta go
scrap scrap   shit lets put some heat to this thing ,  nope   just made a bloody mess
oh well    garbage


can i just get another from rock auto ?  does brand matter?

Think accel make a performance coil pack.

I keep several on hand...and track test them in high gear. If the ignition doesn't break down...then I call them good. The stock stuff from NOS4GN works fine. Accel sells one with brass terminals.

You cannot fix that. but you can take it to the store and see is they will swap it out

It can be fixed.  Flux the hell out of the piece on the coil pack and get a decent tin of solder on it.   Put the spade in ign module wire first since it takes 10,000 pounds of pressure to slide it in, flux and tin the area that's to be soldered.

then stick them together MAKING SURE they're in the position they need to be in for the assembly to be put together.  I'm running a coil pack I broke about 10 years ago.
