You're too old to survive the onslaught of Machine Head. They are FUCKING AWESOME! Buy Machine Head shirts at all costs.

Oh yeah, eat of bowl of dicks too.

I may be too old, BUT I am far too crafty for the kids... you of all people should know that Brian.

The Black Sabbath line up that included Dio had Vinne Appice in it as well. I know Ward was on one album, but they are doing this tour with VA.

Jim, I see your  :finga: and raise you  :finga:  :finga:

I swear, I think my arm is going numb in anticipation. I am sure I will have to hit about eight chuches on the way home just so I can sleep.  :rofl;

Dio! Holy Crap! he is great in concert, well, when I saw him many years ago, and met him at a "in-store" signing.  He is a very Short man, (I was almost looking eye to eye at him) I am 4'11.   Hope he can still put on a great show.  That is a great line up.   Cant wait to hear the details. Have fun.

I can neither confirm nor deny these allegations. But yeah, you're right. I DID drop 'The Five' on you, but I think you dropped about 2.5 on me. And even then, a brake check didn't help.  :mad;

I've seen Megadeth 3 times ACCIDENTALLY. Once they came along with Fear Factory, once with C.O.C. and once with Suicidal Tendencies.

....still waiting for news on how badly M.H. wiped the walls with your ass, Greg.

It is currently 7:51 PST the next day and I am too tired to type at this point.

Machine Head was groovin'. What was most interesting about their set was in between songs the singer would chat it up with the audience. While he did this, the entire band would leave the stage so he was all alone up there. They put on a good show that may have been better had I been more familiar with the material.

Megadeth was about as tight as I have seen them and they put on one helluva show. At one point there were three mosh pits going! They came, kicked ass, and left.

Heaven and Hell came up last (obviously) and played only the songs from Heaven and Hell, Mob Rules, and one song from Dehumanizer. No Ozzy era songs. I was truly expecting them to at least play N.I.B. since I have seen Dio play that in his solo show. With this line up you really get to see four living legends. I know, I know, Iommi is not the great shredder, but he is a great player and the real Godfather of the metal sound.

They played for about 2 hours and just sounded great! Dio is still a great showman and an awesome singer. Geezer Butler, the man who invented Lead Bass played his ass off and Vinnie had a really big sound. Can't miss show of the year.

After seeing these three bands in one night, I have decided that I need to go buy two Bibles, one for home and one for the office.

Sounds like a great show. Iommi is incredible. Especially for a guy with 2 prosthetic fingers. Like I mentioned earlier, Headless Cross has some of his best work ever recorded.
