  • pesta (presta) valves are engineered to seal tight with pressure. Once the tire pressure gets low enough, they will go completely flat. They really shouldn't be checked outside the tire.

  • latex tubes go out of range low in a few days. Butyl tubes take a couple of weeks. Pesta valves are a PITA.

  • Got it in the sink an it's leaking from the valve stem and a hole in it as well. I checked the tire and nothing. Even the rubber band around the rim is that covers the spoke is in good shape. The valve is one of those new ones that you need an adaptor for. Gonna trash it and grab a tube with a normal valve.

  • You better break out a tub of water and see where it's going. Either you have some little stickers embedded in the tire or that cat has some accomplices

  • So when I got a fucked up with diabetes a few years back I went out and bought a bicycle to burn off my blood sugar as it rises overnite. For some reason I can't seem to keep tubes in this damn bike. I go out yesterday and air up the tires. I always set the pressure between the low and high. Take it for a spin ti check everything is working. I go in the shop and crack a beer and set the tire pressures on the motorcycles. I come back out and the back tire is flat. This is my reaction staring at the bike...[link]

  • I guarantee this was a Karen neighbour that complained to the city. I had a fucktard neighbour on my street that complained to the town I was parking my car hauler in front of my house. I had my trailer stored in a friends barn outside of town and I'd go and get it the night before a race and leave it in front of the house overnite but I'd be gone by 6am...wasn't good enuf for my asshole neighbour...[link]

  • Had to get a special oil filter wrench from Harley. One's I have don't fit...and even if I did it has to have a cut in the side to clear a sensor or you'll damage it on removal.

  • Nothing speeds up a machine like swapping HD's for SSD's AND adding ram , cuz all the lazy browser coders assume you have 64 or 128gig of ram

  • Out to work on the Harley. Baffles me why Harley would have 3 oil changes. If anyone is a Harley owner and you have oil in the breather, Harley has an updated oil rocker breather. It's a shit job, but it appears to solve the problem. Don't drill holes and have the excess oil drip on the ground. You're just asking for it to hit the rear tire and get yourself killed. You don't have to remove the tank. Just pull the rear bolt and stick a piece of 1x2 under it to get enough clearance to get the rear rocker cover off. You can do the same on the front of the tank. Make sure you assemble the new breather correctly.

  • Brad I haven't touched temp files in a decade. It used to be older versions of windows wasn't good at housekeeping. As long as it's windows 7 or newer - you should be good to not worry about them

  • I used a few of them for under cabinet lighting.  They starting to flicker and burn out after a year.  On a car I doubt you would get a year of service.
