Arguably one of the best guitarists of all time and my personal fav blues/rock band SRV and Double Trouble with Reese Wynans on keyboards were absolute magic. We lost SRV far to early but he left us with a large catalogue of great music. I saw the boys at MLG and Canada's Wonderland. Here they are doin' Look at Little Sister. SRV being the pro he was, does the worlds best guitar save at 2:55 without missing a note.

For those old enough, here's Sammy doin' Heavy Metal from the movie Heavy Metal which I've pretty much wore out the DVD.

Here's Geoff Tate when he was still fronting Queensryche minus Chris Degarmo on lead guitar. Todd La Torre now fronts Queensryche with Geoff doing his own version of Queensryche with different backing members.

Let's go back to Live Aid with Eric Clapton doin' White Room. That's the late Donald 'Duck' Dunn on bass and Phil Collins on drums. Phil Collins played on both continents by taking the Concorde.

I had a friend whose parents would get him all of those latest game consoles starting with Atari, etc.  My parents wouldn't pay for it.

Pong did not have much shelf life, thankfully.

It did not take long for things to heat up, though.

A bunch of consoles and Apples soon came out and we soon had get together on the week end to play.  Life was simple. I used to get really frustrated playing Zork.  Those damn word games drove me crazy.

I remember maybe 1970 my parents getting my two younger brothers  a Magnavox pong game console for the only TV in the house.  That was WW3 after a few weeks, back in the box sent to the basement.
