I would not settle for a pie pan for a baffle. Every time you take off from a stop you will starve the pump.
Get your money back. Spend the money and Get the RIGHT tank.
Don't settle for garbage. That tank is not useable in a GN.
GET THEM TO PAY FOR RETURN SHIPPING FOR SELLING AN INFERIOR PRODUCT !

I used Jason's (RJC) thicker valve cover gaskets and they worked for me. Especially for the drivers side.

Correct me if I'm wrong

but this is what I came up with...

275-60-15 are 28" tall and go better with 3.73 gears,. With stock 3.23 gears the speedo and ECM will be off.
255-50-15 are 25" tall no good period. Your speedometer and the ECM will be off.
255-55-15 are 26" tall and works best with stock 3.23 gears.
275-50-15 are 25.8" tall and require an 8.5" wide wheel.

Its been so long. I think one of the bolts is for the alternator bracket and that bracket may have to come off. All of the bolts, I removed from the top. I popped off the crossover pipe first and it cam off real easy back in 1989 :-) Yeah real long time ago. A header leak from a cracked header sounds like a ticking sound meets a farting sound like this icon
