I'll go look during the second intermission.. . GO DEVILS!

EDIT: Yup - still there (at least one of them is - closest to the vacuum distribution block). I poked around real quick and found that one of the lines going into the EGR vacuum regulator was loose... so I fixed that. We'll see if that makes a difference.

Oh shit I'm mobile now... Natasha made me get a smart phone. Handy tool when your Buick craps out on you.

I finally sorted out the alignment of the steering wheel yesterday, I set the toe to 1/8" out to see if this aids in fixing the horrible understeer this car has always exhibited; the fresh rubber should help too.

Now I just have to fix the trans pan leak and take it auto-xing next month.

Gave Natasha an early anniversary present... she'd only been asking for 6 years to drive it. I think she's hooked on boost now. ;)

Well I got sick and tired of waiting for Bob Bailey to write me the window switch trigger software for the MAFT Pro so I got an MSD unit... time to trigger the nitrous. ;)

or maybe I should hold off on that nitrous?

When we had the car out for a spin last weekend, during the transition from low into mid-boost the car hesitated and burped a little. This is extremely unusual for this car. As well, when letting off the throttle to coast the engine cycles its speed a little, a kind of low speed oscillation.

Checked the oil - good, coolant - good, plugs - good (tan-ish despite a cold start up & move cycle being the last time it ran). At any rate I am going to clean, regap and stick the 4 year old plugs back in; and take it for a spin to datalog it.

Hits 18psi and knocks like a mutha.

So I refilled the propane tank to be on the safe side as it is set to come on at 18psi; no change. I'll have to test the system to see if it is actually turning on, or find out if there is a failure somewhere.

I bench tested the system and it is functioning correctly. I even compared it to the other propane setup at the house and it compared in overall functionality.

I am going to look at the programmed timing controls and see if it is getting too much advance for some reason?

Eitherway the car is set to run its first auto-x of the season this weekend (and first of the back to back to back to back races this month) and I'll just turn down the boost to be on the safe side. Nothing quite like racing in the July heat and humidity.

Found out that the AUX timing was set at 28*!!! I am damn lucky to have a functioning engine still. Everything is back down to a much more sensible low to mid-20*s in high gear under full boost. Speaking of full boost this thing hit 32psi this morning... yikes! I dialed that back down to 27ish psi.

The work I did on the downpipe (specifically seating the wastegate puck) has really paid off... so well that the car will spool so quickly it sends me into a spin mid-corner. I'll have to review the logs later to see how quick it is coming in.

Sorry... no action shots yet.
