Miserable...I miss my GN.  It's just sitting there in a storage wasting away...

My dad takes it out every so often for a walk around the block, but he's afraid to get on it (well...so he says).  He's afraid of it getting stolen or scratched so he doesn't do much with it.  It was a chore to get it in to have the alarm system repaired, as well as the driver's seat belt retainer.  Thank god nothing major has gone kapoot or it'd turn into a big black garage ornament.  

I might be in SoCal in August of this year.  And we should be returning stateside in '08.  Most likely I'll get stationed in Ft. Rucker, AL this (again).  Which is good, I know of a few people with TRs there, as well as one very sharp mechanic (who I hope still lives there).

But if my wife ends taking another position here...then I'd have to tag along and that would mean staying here until '09.  The plus side?  We've saved enough money to buy the enclosed car trailer and all the bolt on parts I wanted for GN.  If we do end up staying until '09, then I'm buying the stuff to tear apart the engine and build her up right.  If not...then I'll put that off for a couple of years and buy the parts here and there as I find them.

Hey Be4u is there any prices yet for the track rental???  I'm game to fill a spot, if TSM and Wrecked wanna race their cars I have no problem watching instead of racing.  Use me as an alternate if you want,  like I said I'm game to be #5 on the list. :psix;

I am so sorry, we will have "1" car at least.  If we bring both, its no problem, 1 car can sit out.  Bryan and I switch sometimes when we race and have only the 1 car.  My GN is still in pieces.  Not sure if I am going to bring the "Stang".  Count us in for 1 car...

The reason I asked about price is that I looked up reserving a track out here for a "private" test session and it ran ovah $2000 bux...split 5 ways is $400 and that's alot of mula for a test and tune session.  My buddies wanted to rent NPR drags and thats the price....OUCH!!!

Sorry, but we will not be able to make it this year.  We have to get this darn garage finished before winter.  Next week we are going to run up to Quincy to check on Wrecked em's dad.   Next year sounds like a plan.   God, it is hard to believe that this is October in a few days........EW WW
