why no x275 cars?
« on: October 15 2012, 06:32:49 PM »
i went to the shakedown yesterday. the outlaw 10.5 cars were impressive but.. for me the x275 class had me glued though. question though, why no turbo regals? well there was.. but they had 8 cyl swaps. but it lead me to think.. can a stage2 car do 158-ish in the 8th?  if anyone hasnt seen this class.. youtube it. its just incredible what they're doing on a drag radial.. thats no bigger then a 275/60/15

Even if the Stage 2 could do it I would guess it costs about 3x as much as a Chebby motor if you consider broken parts for a few seasons.
Those cars are Crazy Quick!!
