Back to working on this beast. replaced coil, wires and plugs. The vacume booster failed so replaced that. car runs really good, still dosent like boost. Spools quickly and staying under half throttle and up to 8-9 lbs of boost were all good, more than that and knock jumps in...alot.

chip says 20-18 on timing. if I lower the adjustable timing in the chip is that only for WOT or does it lower it all over? winter is coming so will probably send chip in then to be burned for exact combo in car.

Not being a wise guy but hows fluid level and condition? Pink and smell ok or dark and smelly. If you want to check tv cable let me know and I can advise

check to make sure the linkage is connected properly and swinging the selector arm on the tranny

Im cheap so years ago I cut down the front springs to lower the front about 1 inch. Now with the taller M&H tires on the rear it has to much height in the back, looks silly. Question is, can i cut the backs down the same way to get the back down some. I know i cant cut the one end but the other looks like i can??

Stupid question time.....the vacume booster is leaking so i need to replace it. I'm assuming one for non turbo 87 regal will be the one I should order??   Thanks!!

4 hours for us...worth it. Force lost but made a great save keeping it out of the wall. Matt Hagen gave my son a connecting rod and then later a signed piston! And then he won the event so was a great weekend.

Been to the track a couple times a year for the last 6 years. When I first started going the car was in the 14's. If I make it to the track again this year plan on adjusting low gear timing, and manually shifting from 2 to 3.

Car still had a slight miss at cruise so I swapped coil/wires from mine and gone. Rock auto sells a few coils. Any i should avoid or any i should try to get?

I think Monday i will call Husak and ask if he sells govenors that will shift at 5500......I like the idea of keeping the stock one just in case.

On the springs, I didn't shim or test the 981's when I got them, just installed them. Seems like the spring choice can be a contentious subject. In my mind running a higher pressure is just making life tougher on the cam for a mostly street driven car......but I'm probably way off in my thoughts!

On the topic of a better 60 ft., that best run i had. Looking at the log i think I left at a crazy amount of boost....it hooked but don't know if I'm ever getting a 1.5 or lower.
