Gordy just posted on FB: ( puting it here for future reference)
Gordy Wright  People have already mentioned spoolfool and goodmark which are the top end versions.  But another option is Dothan Replica Plastics, depending on your budge they are bit more affordable.  I've had them on my car for almost 10 years now and they're fine.  I also had the rears melded into a one piece.  They sell all 5 pieces, and not just the 4.  There is one to avoid though, I think they're called Danmark or Danfoss.  https://replica-plastics.com/product.../buick/regal/1981-87/

Ran across this:
Mike Jensen  My first wife went to the Bracket Races with me, and even took pictures and picked up my timeslips for me. Once she had a job, she asked if it would be ok for me to just go with my friends. I thought nothing of it, but she never went again and she started screwing her boss. Things went downhill after that.

Canada / "Free" trade agreement
« on: October 01 2018, 12:03:18 PM »
New deal doesn't seem to help us much with car parts at  the border from the  docs I read this morning.
Duties ( which were never an issue on car parts) don't kick in till $140 BUT we will get taxed on anything over $40 ( old limit was $20 )

Canada / Ontario Drive Clean testing ends Apr 1
« on: September 28 2018, 02:38:51 PM »
Instead, the Progressive Conservative government will clamp down on big commercial polluters by enhancing the smog checks on transport trucks and other industrial vehicles.

“By ending Drive Clean tests and repairs for passenger vehicles, this government is reducing the burden on residents and families who own a car,” Ford said at a service garage on Martin Grove Rd.

“They no longer need to take time out of their days to take their vehicles in for unnecessary tests,” the premier said, adding the government will save $40 million a year.

General Auto Tech / Bullydog -EPA

Guess they should have checked with Spina LOL

The Environmental Protection Agency and Department of Justice have reached a settlement with Derive Systems, maker of "Bully Dog" and "SCT" tuning software, over the manufacturing of emissions defeat devices found to be in violation of the Clean Air Act. Derive will have to pay a fine of $300,00 on top of spending $6.25 million to bring the company and its tuning products up to standards.
The EPA stated that Derive sold products for multiple years that could be used to change the engine tuning on gasoline and diesel cars and trucks. The engine tuners sold by Derive allowed owners to access and overwrite the vehicles stock software, which could be used to defeat emissions controls such as diesel particulate filters, exhaust gas recirculation, catalytic converters, and other systems.

The EPA put other tuning companies on notice in their settlement as well. Susan Bodine, assistant administrator for EPA’s Office of Enforcement and Compliance Assurance said: “Manufacturers and sellers of automotive emissions control defeat devices should stand up and take notice of this settlement. EPA will protect air quality by vigorously enforcing the Clean Air Act’s prohibition on these devices.”

It was thought to be the hot thing years ago, Spina then pointed out there was one less ground contact.Doesn't seem to matter

IIRC I just took a chunk of aluminum that was handy and made my own adapter.
