What was the finding that persuaded your decision?

The Astroglide may short it out..

Should put a wall plate over it to better intergrate the switch with the dash..  :)

It is cheap power.  The lsx blocks are plentiful like the chevy small block was in the 70's and 80's..

Add the modern transmission (manuals do better mpg)  and you have a decent cruiser car that gets mid to high 20's fuel economy.

There is a pattern for sure.

Have heard from some people that the new car smell tree air fresheners get their scent from formaldehyde and vermin don't like it.

One in the cabin, one in the trunk a few hung around the garage all full strength for the winter.  I also put out a few bricks of rat poison.

Only thing I wish I did when I changed my injectors was to use KY or something else that is water based for lube..

I ended up using a little vaseline.  Other than that it was fairly easy.

Only other thing I would suggest is undo the clips that hold the injectors to the rail before starting to reef on it.

Flat on the bottom so it can fully cut threads all the way to the bottom of the hole

A bottom tap would fully cut to the bottom too..

I encounter the tap vs bolt problem for cleaning threaded holes. The idea being the threads in the hole and on the student / bolt stretch the same.  Sometimes being the threads have been put passed the yeild point.

Other than that I prefer tapping holes to chase the threads for cleaning.  As an alternative use a hardened grade bolt for cleaning if the threads look good.

Weird photo..  That looks like a frugal build?

I could imagine the thought process.  Don't have what I need but have this chromed 180 kicking around..

Another alternative to torn threads would be to drill and tap the next size up and reduce via bushings.
