Does it matter since washers are used?

I'm sure they work fine but they just seem like they are so light that the 6 point just make me feel better. That's how I learned & I'll "be damned" if I use this Modern Technology!

When Steve was a whipper snapper his family had One Bolt & they shared it!!
They were just happy to have the One! They didn't need Eight!! 
We only had one pair of shoes when we were kids & us three boys shared them but we were Gratefull to have them at least twice a week walking 15 miles to school in a Blizzard!

Mine were twice that price from Summit & the local jobber? 
With shipping tax etc $100 each set 6 or 12 point. They are Studs not like those.

Can't see where it would really matter. Pulling the rocker shafts is NOTHING compared to pulling the exhaust manifolds.

I can't even remember if I pulled the shafts when I retorqued (1/2) my head studs.

See what I mean!   If each nut is 1oz lighter and there's 16 of them that's 1# off the front of the car!!!!

The CoG will practally be over the rear axle!!

They sure are lightweight compared to the 6 point but that's what you get unless you specify otherwise. Altho saving me going to the bathroom before each race just might be worth it!
