IHADAV8 Playground / Thoughts on a new DD

So i sold my 2000 Ranger and threw the 87 GN back together and have been using it as a DD for the past few months. I want to park the GN and give it the attention it deserves like new quarters, etc...

I thought I had my new DD picked out but in the past few days I have now brought another choice in the mix. Which do you guys think I should use?

The Lotus Elise or the Aston Martin DB7?





Any thoughts are appreciated.

Is there any difference in running 18# of boost with a TA49 and 18# of boost with a larger turbo? I am speaking of identical builds only the turbo being different. I do understand that there will be lag and such, but as far as power, is there a difference?

This will lead into my next round of questions....

I have a two piece downpipe and I am changing turbos. I need to adjust the alignment of the upper piece of the downpipe for proper alignment. Is there any chance I can get the two pieces apart without destroying them?
