Im going to pick up my car tomorrow from the shop.  I finally got the valve springs installed.  I also bought an adjustable wg that's sitting in the passenger seat, dual fans, and casper's kit for the dual fans also sitting in the backseat.  Back to adjusting and tuning when I get this knock gauge installed.  Keep you guys posted.

Me and my cousin Charles also got the front and back bumper fillers installed on the car.  Although it needs paint, it looks a lot better than it did when they were missing. :rock:

So, I installed the Knock gauge correctly.  Still not getting a reading though. I also installed the adjustable WG. The c-clip came off with ease, but I didn't realize that I was going to need a gasket after removing the oil tube from the bottom of the turbo.  I should've planned better.  Now i have to order one b/c no local parts store carry them in stock.  Keep you all posted on my progress.

Why don't you just make one....it's not that hard. The parts store has gasket material if you don't already have some. BTW, you should always have some.....

Had no idea about this.  Do I just walk in any Parts store and ask for some gasket material?  I'd prefer that anyway!!!  Thanks a lot

Do I understand you don't get any lights for a second or two when you turn the key on? Which knock sensor did you buy?

yes, just ask for gasket material and hope for the best.  Don't get the real thin stuff as it always seemed to leak for me

Correct, no lights during startup out side of the middle indicating that it's on.  The gauge came from Kirbans Performance, and it does not have a name brand on it.  All the other gauges that came in the "kit" that my wife bought say VDO on them.  My boost gauge is vdo as well.  Is it possible that I ruined the gauge by hooking the power up to a switch before instead of the correct way?  Thanks for inquiring.  Im heading off to the parts store to grab some gasket material.  Car runs great with these valve springs installed

Got everything bolted back up.  Got the hose from the compressor port running straight to the wastegate.  No chance to drive and check to see what the boost is set at, but its not too much shorter than the stock rod right now.  Keep you all posted.

Lol!  Thats exactly what's been up.  Hahahaha.  Drove the car today.  Seems to be only making about 9 lbs of boost right now.  Boost comes on a lot quicker than the stock setup though, thats for sure.

should come up slower if everything was working right...but, now you have to shorten the rod to get the boost up
