My wife is originally from Itasca/Schaumburg and there are a few words that betray a slight Chicago accent. Plus, her and her family are the only people in NM who say "frontroom". (Pronounced "fronchroom")

Go a little farther south and soda turns to coke. Even if they want a 7-up, they call it coke.

I love TN, I lived in Clarksville for a number of years and hope to return to TN to retire.  There are quite a few TRs in TN...they're just not organized or anything.  Also, Shelbyville has one very meticulous and exceptional TR mechanic.

It was the first day of crawfish season yesterday and a gas station in town had a boil(pretty redneck, huh?)...17 bucks for 5 lbs.  Me and a friend of mine tore em up, and prolly coulda ate another 2 more lbs...The ACT fucked me up i missed the KA crawfish boil at MSU, coulda got fucked up and ate more.

Exactly as BE4U said, we call it coke in houston or simply a drink

I'm so desperate for some crawfish that I researched on how to get some live ones shipped to me. I'll need to take a loan out....

Crawfish is just like lobster and shrimp but the taste is way better.

One day I hope to treat y'all to a crawfish boil.

We had HUGE crawdads ponds in the river bottom over here. We fished those ponds dry one summer as kids. Didn't eat them either, it's a damn shame.

Up here, they're called crayfish. I've seen them a few times, but didn't know that they were edible at the time. I didn't find out until my cousins from GA started talking about them.

I lived in Houston, TX for  4 years.  I used to love the crawfish boils vendors would put on.  Lots of beer to wash it all down!
