275/50-15 on the rear 225/60-15 on the front

Goodyear makes a really nice tire and they may not be as expensive as you think. Unless you get the F1 Supercars, $1100 for tires on my Ranger.

As long as you're running radials on stock rims, WTF does it matter?

Get a set of GTAs (or some other 16x8s) and throw the 255/50R16 M/T DRs on the backside....th row crap cheapies up front because, as Greg will tell you- front tires don't matter 'cause turning's for suckers.

Dude, get the cheapest shit you can, unless you're racing. That said said, I've always been a big fan of BFG T/A's.
My 1958 Mamiya can beat up whatever camera you just wasted your money on.
