IHADAV8 Playground / Public Seating!
« on: July 13 2008, 11:39:06 AM »
As you are aware, I just recently wrapped up a trip back East that involved Planes, Trains, and Busses.  All of these modes of transportation require that you HAVE to sit among the general population (read: dumb asses).  I just loathe flying, not becuse I am afraid to fly, no, it's the idiots I have to "share" the plane with!  Check this out, the airline says (in their best Nurse Ratchett voice at medication time):

"It's now time to board the plane"

My fellow travelers start to crash the gate like it's a 1972 Who concert!  I mean what is the fucking hurry to get on the plane?  Because when it's time to get off, we are all in a hurry once again to get off only to have to wait 45 more minutes to see if you have won the Luggage Lottery and find that you do in fact have your luggage in tact AND in your posession!  Even all of that is only amusing and not the reason I hate flying.

It's once you get on te plane the ass wipe in front of you feels the need to invade your personal space by laying his seat all the down into you lap!  Do I look like I am giving away free scalp massages?  Why can' you friggin people just sit up like the 85% on the plane who actually resepect the personal space of those around us.  Do you REALLY need to lay down?  Bring a book, or a crossword, or even the t
age old classic of bugging the person sitting next to you for the next 5 hours, but for the love of God, DO NOT lay back into my lap!

Then to add insult to injury, we had to take a tour bus from DC to Gettysburg, a 90 minute trip.  And guess what!  The seats in the fucking bus recline as well and the fat ass lady from Minnesota just can't keep it together for 90 minutes and HAS the ay her seat back.  Then, it's not enough room still for her short, fat ass, she has to stretch out side ways and stick her hear in between the seats so now her hair is hanging into MY AREA!  Oh we're not done yet.  Some of her bags fall back into my lap from between the seats.  I have e-fucking-nough at this point.  I took the bags and slid them under my seat and let her go on a search for them.  Fucking Pig bitch!

One thing vastly different back East from my beloved socialist state of Kalifornia, is the use of mass transit.  Interesting concept.  Jam as many people into an under ground tube as you can on a day to day basis and they actually become polite, if not courteous.  I guess when you are on the same train as everyone else people tend to behave themselves (kinda like a couple of certain BUick BBs).

This takes me to yesterday.  Back in Kalifornia, Mrs. Racer X decides that we need to see the Broadway Musical "Wicked".  We get to the theater and I am thinking, "Great, no one to lay their seat back in to my lap"  Well that part was true, but what I got in return, was another fat chick now KICKING THE BACK OF MY SEAT!

AAAAAAHHHHHHHH HHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

CAN'T YOU FUCKING PEOPLE BE-FUCKING-HAVE!?!?!

I am never going out again!  Fuck you people!

IHADAV8 Playground / So check it out!
« on: June 21 2008, 09:27:07 PM »
I driving home from my Son's soccer tournament with the wife in the car as well.  We are on a freeway just cruising and we get onto a transition to another freeway and there is a CTS (not the V) and a slow ass Corolla, the road is two lanes wide and I am third behind the Caddy with the Corolla in front.

Now there is quite a bit of straight here before a right hander to the next freeway.  So I take the Charger to left (outside line) of these two and give 'er a little gas, just enough to pass.  I check the rear view and Skippy in the Caddy decides he wants to chase us through the turn.  :rofl;  Traffic on the freeway is at a stop, so I slow the Charger down, check the mirror and see the Caddy now bouncing off the curb to the left, over correct to the right, and then get it gathered up.  It looks like he is not going to stop in time before using us as his brake.  Fortunately, he got it slowed down in time before hitting us.   :jerkit;  I am sure that car needs an alignment at a minimum and maybe two bent rims.

Now for the good part!   :rofl;  I look in the mirror and see his wife SCREAMING AT HIM AT FULL VOLUME!  I mean head turned fully to the left and at full pitch!   :rofl;  It's one thing to run out of traction, real estate, and ideas all at the same time, but another thing to do it in front of the Mrs. while trying show you have no real talent!  :rofl;  Priceless.

Bless his heart!

IHADAV8 Playground / The Scott Ian guitar pick
« on: June 01 2008, 11:57:28 AM »
So last night I took my oldest son to his first big concert.  We saw Anthrax open for Iron Maiden.  The kid is pumped seeing these guys live and in the 10th row center to boot!

Just as Anthrax runs out on to the Stage Scott Ian throws a guitar pick out into the crowd and it literally lands in my son's lap. How cool is that? To get a pick at your first show?!  :supz:  :prayer:

Nonetheless, he thoroughly enjoyed himself.

IHADAV8 Playground / Sunday of Memorial Day weekend!
« on: May 23 2008, 09:54:58 PM »
This is my personal Christmas.  The Sunday of every Memorial Day Weekend I get THREE... THREE races to watch.  I start off the day by watching one of the most historic and fabled races in all of Motorsports.  The Monaco Grand Prix!

That is followed by *the* most fabled race in Motorsports.  The Indy 500!

Then the longest non timed race in Motorsports.  The World 600 from Charlotte!

It is about half way through the third race when my wife checks me for a pulse.  :supz:
