I'd love to find a 59 or 60 Elco to build. They're starting to get more popular so the prices are going up. I always wanted to Pro Street one. I think it would look kinda cool. Maybe Pro Touring would fit in better nowadays. Hard to find them with good sheet metal.

Here a pic of the el co, I haven't  had time to  complete it. its a 350, 5 spd,  dual throttle bodies, PS, PB, A/C, TILT, PWR WINDOWS, it sits on american mags T 70's,
( look them up, if you can find em!)  295-50-15 rear, 225-50-15 front,  flow masters,
I have a louver press, so you can imagine  what the hood will look like when I'm done,
never enough time , and money for everything!

I love the backgrounds in the photos.....sor ry, I'm a scenery guy. When you're headed west on I-40, then turn onto 93, you go through a brief canyon and then that giant valley that you drive from there to just about Hoover Dam is gorgeous. I look forward to seeing it again in a few weeks.

81 SS baby! All Cali, non AC (and I have a few non AC heater boxes too boot!), bench seat, column shifted. Used to have a built and juiced 355 SBC with an Art Carr TH400 in it. Then I sent a rod through the pan and it's been hanging out for a couple years now, no bread to work on it. I have 2 four bolt main 350 blocks laying around. I will trade them for an Olds or Buick 455 block.

I went to jail because of the parts I was hoarding for it, some lightweight  forged cranks, lightweight rods and some forged pistons. I wanted it to rev to 7,000 rpms or higher to scare the piss out of everyone next to me.

I like the 59/60's. I hate the 64 - 72's, so common.
My 1958 Mamiya can beat up whatever camera you just wasted your money on.

Hey Dceptcn
here a photo I just took  out my front window, the stream of lights going up over the hill, on left side is I 40,  you will see this view in reverse when you come over the hill and into Kingman, on your way to Las Vegas.
we live on a hill side and  love the view!
