Probably another dumb question but I'm a noobie so.....What problems can a misaligned cam angle sensor cause??? I am getting some detonation when I roll into the throttle and i'm thinking this could be part or all of the problem?? :sad;

If i let the car shift into second and gradually jump on it when i hit maybe 2500rpms the detonation will start building on the Scanmaster. Unfortunately no boost gauge(stocker) or fuel pressure yet those are coming. Stock TT chip for 93 octane. I was just curious cause the car is going to the shop this week and thats one thing i will have them checking, finally found a shop that can work on Turbo cars!! :D I'm happy about that but I haven't received any bills from them yet either :bigeyes; PS It was just an " in general" question. Thanks. I know my car needs some work as I went to the track and only went 13.92@98...stock they should do a 13.50 plus I have the RJC plate, Walbro pump, new injectors, better chip and valvesprings, plus it was stumbling on the top end of 2nd and 3rd so there is more there. I changed the wires and the coil pack so the only 2 options left.....ignit ion module and checking the cam sensor.

actually these cars bone stock with a filter, the best i have seen between mine and a friends was a 14.0... so not bad. and a FP guage and boost guage are a must. u might have the boost too high or to low. that was my problem when i put my new TE-44 on. car felt slugish so i checked EVERYthing i could think of... then hooked up my boost guage... i was at 11 psi, had the car set up for 18 or 19. u never know

Those aren't bad times considdering you
don't know how much boost or fuel pressure
you're running. I have a very similar setup
to yours, and I run 13.3 @ 99.69 MPH FWIW.
