Saturday, I mad the yearly pilgrimage to the Orlando HAMCation HAMFest.
My father is a HAM radio amateur - his birthday is 02/14, so I go every year to hang out with him, and kind of a quasi-present to him. I enjoy it, even though I am not a HAM.
I usually buy tools and crap from the swap meet area. This year, I saw some nice braided woven ground strap. I plan to use this to make some really nice custom ground straps for the GN.
Total cost was $15.00 for the braid, and $2.00 for the 4 copper lugs.
I could sleeve with this too. (The end is like that because I was fiddling with it.)

Nice. Tinned copper or Stainless braid?
If you need a big crimper:

If you need any brass wire mesh send me a note Mark. One of my friends has a 4 foot tall roll of it and I think I can get you some of it for sheilding if you need it.

Tinned copper. I estimate about 15'.
Thanks for the link on the crimper. I can probably wing it with some tools and a hammer. I'm only doing 2-4 straps.
Maybe I could make some up with the left overs and sell them. Hmmm.

Will do Charlie!
Thanks

I'm going to use some as a sheild for my puter and a few other things around here. Not that there's much of an issue but it might give me some advantages at a later date after all. :D
