I'm looking for help finding a part number or a link to who sells the Red Plug 2 wire compressor switch that plugs in on top of the 87 AC compressor. Plug is here but where do I find the switch?
Thanks!! http://www.casperselectronics.com/store2/product_info.php?cPath=5_6_9&products_id=1013 (http://www.casperselectronics.com/store2/product_info.php?cPath=5_6_9&products_id=1013)

Press fit into an O-ring then retained by a C-clip, the small drill bit to pry against was the only way to get that one out without destruction.

Is yours defective? Why do you want to replace it?

I take the snap ring out and then use the snap ring pliers around it and pry up. Work slowly and you can get it out without breaking it.

Mine works fine but I have to crazy glue it in place to keep a good connection. I tried a new Caspers plug & same thing. Someday when I drain the system for the new polished accumulator I'd like to add the new switch. Altho, the crazy glue works not bad.

Probably did what I did on the first one, by the time it was out- the tab that locks the plug on was destroyed. One of the AC guys mentioned he only manages to save half of them.
