Don't the prices of a GSX and a GNX stay pretty much close to one another?  I think the GNs can fetch a bit more than a GS, but the Ts, T-Types, WE-4s, WH1s usually only appeal to people that know what they are.  And Montes, Olds, etc. won't ever come close to the prices the TRs garner.

as i said i dont know about the olds ant pontiacs but.. its getting rough to find a decent monte for a "cheap" price now.  will they ever come close? no.

and in my eyes.. i rather spend more on a WH1 then a gn.

In Barret Jackson condition.
Old muscle cars will bring in more then the G-Body years. The GNX can be close to a numbers match GSX but not more. If you don't own one now it's too late to make a killing at the auctions. Buy Gold or rare art if you want to make money. Now drive the hell out of the garage queen :evil;

Making a killing isn't the goal.
Having something thats fun and at least holds it's value.

Our list price (GN) was quite a bit higher, be a long time before I might break even on that.

I think it was late '07 and early '08 when I saw one fetch $100K.  Now, people aren't willing to pay more than $70 to $70K.

But it's funny...you see people ask and pay ridiculous amounts of money for these things sometimes.  There was an '84 or '85 on ebay that was going for $24K+ a few weeks past and the seller claimed it was appraised at that value.  Thing had quite a few miles on it too.  It looked nice in the pics, I'll give him that...but I wouldn't pay over $2500 for an '84 or an '85 TR.

I'm assuming since that is NADA's only option category they lump t-tops in there.

An '85 for $18,500.  The $12K spend under the hood better be impressive for that much scratch.
