If your cam sensor was bad or out of whack what would it do to hurt your car?
-
Read up on this. http://gnttype.org/techarea/ecmsensors/camsensor_FAQ.html If its bad I don't think the car will start.
-
Caspers sells a tool/module that plugs into the car's engine harness
that sends a false signal to the ecm so you can start the car, if the
cam sensor craps out.

They also sell an alignment tool which makes it MUCH easier to set it initially.
