Been a while since I updated this thread. So here you go. Not much new happening with the limited. More testing is needed as is time. I can probably get some testing done but I can’t make any time.
Mostly been analyzing data and adjusting things here and there. Learned a real good lesson about fluid dynamics in regards to a pressure regulator. Just can’t throw in a better pump and drive on thinking your fuel system is up to snuff.
Have an all Buick test and tune day at XRP in Ferris, TX on May 11th, 10 AM - 4 PM. 1/8th mile track. Hope to make a few passes and get some more data. Maybe even make some new PB’s.
Personal best so far in the limited:
60 foot. 1.501 1/8 ET. 6.75 1/8 MPH 104.77 1/4 ET 10.98 1/4 MPH 125.98

One step forward... if you own a Buick.... 6... no, 10 steps back. You got this!

I’ve seen some 1.4ish 60 foot times on stock stuff. A good rear sway bar to keep you straight at launch would be my suggestion

I’ll be in O’Fallon in July for work. Would love to see your car

I’d really like to have that

That one table is huge! I currently am using a VE table 1 and a VE table 3. Looks like you have that detail all on one table

MS3 doesn’t allow for independent corrections for + or - Whatever number you enter, up to 50 is the same for adding or subtracting fuel. Most tuning folks I deal with don’t like this about MS3. Although I have never seen an o2 sensor fail on the rich side, the argument for only being able to pull a set amount of fuel is understandable

I guess my question kind of misleads about how one interprets the data. All have a correction to reach the desired AFR. I guess what I read was more of a sales ploy rather than actual performance of the product.
Data acquisition, the speed at which the data is interpreted, input, calculated and then a command sent back to said component to ultimately satisfy an equation is what intrigues me. The ease of viewing the data is another. I’m still working on my interpretation of that data because I’m still learning the science of everything else. Another thing that gets me is the diagnostic part of determining what component or sensor may be misleading my data interpretation . Or sensor may be bad, ground not quite cancelling the noise... it’s can be so many things.
I’ve seen the software while a fella was on the dyno, but never got to fiddle with it. It appeared to be very intuitive. Oh well,... blue box for me... for now.

I haven’t researched enough, so I have a question about the system. The claim is real time temp and pressure compensation. Any truth to it?

At least they went back to rounded wheel wells but ugly AF!

I’m fully prepared to chase my ass around. The stock ecu is great and I’ve done well with it. Hp tuners is really good software, I’m just sick of their licensing. Now I need to upgrade my USB adapter to their new Bluetooth adapter. By the time I added the cost of new adapter, licensing, and a used gm p59 - it was only $200-300 more for the Holley. Made the decision pretty easy. I’m trying to decide how far I want to go into the wiring. I may try to keep the stock pcm for some things. Unfortunately it does drive the cluster. The plan is to see If i can get the gas gauge, speedo working and continue to use the stock pcm for cooling fan control while the Holley does the rest. If not race car.
I see your concerns. Does Holley have blue tooth? If so, maybe consider a tablet that can run RealDash.

Wife and I both tested positive for donations influenza a. Ugh
Man I feel for you guys... I firmly believe that school teachers build up tolerances early in their careers. Of course, my wife now just spreads it’s to me and the kids and never gets sick herself

With all that suspension cycling you did, talking with suspension guys, measuring and remeasuring, researching and not feeling comfortable with it in the first place.... case closed. Measure for a new drive shaft. Compare that with the current shaft you have, order a new shaft and then feel safe about driving the car
