I heard you got some sweet cars. Post up!
-
Oh shit, not the jail talk again.
-
Les, alias blown1, alias cruzn57, I think that you and I know each other, if not by name, then by sight.
-
Hopefully no one confuses you with broke1.
-
They're not one and the same?
Are you sure?
-
totally different. Blown1 appears to be capable of constructing a coherent sentence....Br oke1 cannot......be cause he's a friggin' burnout.
-
No doubt! Broke1 isnt a good person to be confused with.

Hey Gary

-
Jesus, somebody's got some fucking toys!

I'd love to find a 59 or 60 Elco to build. They're starting to get more popular so the prices are going up. I always wanted to Pro Street one. I think it would look kinda cool. Maybe Pro Touring would fit in better nowadays. Hard to find them with good sheet metal.
-
Here a pic of the el co, I haven't had time to complete it. its a 350, 5 spd, dual throttle bodies, PS, PB, A/C, TILT, PWR WINDOWS, it sits on american mags T 70's,
( look them up, if you can find em!) 295-50-15 rear, 225-50-15 front, flow masters,
I have a louver press, so you can imagine what the hood will look like when I'm done,
never enough time , and money for everything!
-
I love the backgrounds in the photos.....sor ry, I'm a scenery guy. When you're headed west on I-40, then turn onto 93, you go through a brief canyon and then that giant valley that you drive from there to just about Hoover Dam is gorgeous. I look forward to seeing it again in a few weeks.
-
Natty, what year was your El Camino?
-
81 SS baby! All Cali, non AC (and I have a few non AC heater boxes too boot!), bench seat, column shifted. Used to have a built and juiced 355 SBC with an Art Carr TH400 in it. Then I sent a rod through the pan and it's been hanging out for a couple years now, no bread to work on it. I have 2 four bolt main 350 blocks laying around. I will trade them for an Olds or Buick 455 block.
I went to jail because of the parts I was hoarding for it, some lightweight forged cranks, lightweight rods and some forged pistons. I wanted it to rev to 7,000 rpms or higher to scare the piss out of everyone next to me.
I like the 59/60's. I hate the 64 - 72's, so common.

Hey Dceptcn
here a photo I just took out my front window, the stream of lights going up over the hill, on left side is I 40, you will see this view in reverse when you come over the hill and into Kingman, on your way to Las Vegas.
we live on a hill side and love the view!
-

Where/how the hell can you see a stream of traffic!?!?!
-
Where/how the hell can you see a stream of traffic!?!?!
lol Robert, most folks from out east don't understand that the viewa in the west are very far. I can see mountains from my porch that are over an hour away.

Dceptcn, I have a good mind to fly into Stanley NM and ride up with you.

Well, Stanley doesn't even have a gas pump- let alone an airport! lol Besides, you've never met me.....imagine what it would be like to find out that you really can't stnd someone- then realize it's another 10 hours to Vegas! lol Or worse, find out that I was one of those guys who thinks his farts (in the car, no less) are funny.....over and over again.
Also, I'm pretty sure that the price would be pretty close whether you flew into Vegas or Albuquerque... ..but, just the same- anytime you gots business in NM, I'll pick you up!

That remindes me of something that happened today. Dealing six deck blackjack...a foul odor emits and almost kills me. I talk shit while dealing in the first place...you know, "gimme your money" as I talk their losing bets and "I just won more money than you did" (people love that when I get paid on a tip and their buddy loses) So anyways, the odor. I start waving the table and everyone is dying...I cant even count correctly...I point out who it was and we made him get up everytime he had to fart. He blamed it on the gumbo...I thought he was just mad at me.
I guess I just think of you as one of my boys. Your right though...you may hate me on first glance.

I leave around 1 or 2 am so that I get into Vegas around 1 pm.......it's a long drive, homeboy. On second thought, you've never been out west, huh? You'd probably love the scenery......o nce the sun came up.
