We drove it the other day for the first time. Resisted the urge to hit it hard until the new tranny has some miles on it. I guarantee, it pulls a lot harder than the 318 that was in it. Needs a new suspension all the way around. I think he will do that in Houston.
I still have my two as well. My son came up for a few days without his family and we almost finished the wagon so he can drive it back to Houston. One of the things we did was also replace the rubber fuel lines at the rear on his Buick and pulled the interior on my Miata to add some insulation to try to help with the noise on rough roads...did not help much but then I did not expect it to.
I thought that hose marked fuel injection or 30r7 was good to go. Oops, seems that is only normally rated to 50 psi and was meant for throttle body injection.... Live, burn something down, and learn, I guess
