Hey guys, I'm interested in buying a snowmobile in Michigan but I need it to be shipped to Pembina North Dakota so I can pick it up.  I have used Yellow Freight in the past but it will probably be fairly expensive.  Do any of you have any ideas or recommendation s?

Anyone see this episode on Velocity?  We have a free viewing, watched it last night.  Good to see they got the kid's GN running but they didn't give any specs on the turbo they installed or the converter.  Felt it lacked a lot of technical info but at least they got the car running, apparently it was sitting for 8 years.

Does anyone know the difference between the PTE6466 compared to the Turbonetics 6466 or 6468?  I thought the wheels were basically the same but differences in housing?    Is the PTE worth the extra cost over the Turbonetics?

Car looks really nice, especially interior.  My only question is why is there so rust underneath?  If you look at the stainless pipes, they have rust, looks like a bit underneath the trunk.  There isn't a spec of rust on my low milage car's factory exhaust.  Was the car not stored properly or did it come from the coast?  What do you guys think?

General Buick Tech / What would you do?

So I'm rebuilding my 4.1 and thinking of dropping a smaller cam in it so I don't have to rev it that high.  Buzzing the motor past 6300rpm I can rip off mid 11's on pump gas.  I use to have 9:1 compression but the last guy that machined the motor got me diamond pistons that took me down to 8:1.  I would like to get the compression up but not looking forward to buying new pistons.  That is why I thought I might drop a smaller cam in.  Anyone know if I can get a thinner head gasket?  Should I shave some off the heads?  What would you guys do?

General Buick Tech / No Spark!!

Took the car for a spin last night and it died on me.  The car has made a popping sound on me a few times out of the blue.  Last night it made a popping sound again, drove for 2 blocks then it suddenly died.  I put a brand new ECM in it to try and I put the ignition module and coil from my other car as well as checked all fuses.

What do you guys think?  Crank sensor?
