I just got got my Biggie adapter and searched for a cheap(er) Baldwin source. Found one, but you have to buy a case of 12. Even with shipping they are $7.75. There is a 2 week delivery gap too.
Just thought I'd pass that along.

I think that is not a bad price. I think I bought a B2 from Amazon but I believe that was the Turbosaver type...I don't recall which is which at the moment. It was more like $9, I think. They are good filters
-
Does the B2 fit the adapter too? I'll look that up.

Mike, Old people should not post part numbers without checking what they fit. The B2 was for my 440 Dodge engine.
The PTE TurboSaver came originally with a Baldwin 279.
The biggie oil filter that used a PF24 takes a Baldwin 9 or Baldwin 39. I did not check to see the lengths of the 9 or 39 to see what the length difference is between the 9 and 39 (looks like the 39 is the smaller (shorter) one.

when I buy locally, for the biggie filter, I usually buy the Napa Gold which is built by Wix. The 1258 is about 4.34" long and the 1049 is about 5.2" long. I forget the Wix numbers for these two filters. They are very good filters as well.
