Post by: Recklessrob on July 20 2005, 07:06:21 PM: They help relieve crankcase pressure. The PCV (positive crankcase ventillation)
valve applies a small amount of vacuum to the crankcase, and the breathers provide an air path into the crankcase when blowby is low.

Post by: Be4u on July 21 2005, 10:20:26 AM: my covers have a grommit cup type thing that the breathers fit into. I think it would greatly reduce any chances of that. Thank gawd!
