If you were honest to Eric about your mods and anticipated boost level...then idle fuel should be spot on. Engines I raced checked in with the idle BLM's at 122. Don't pull your hair out trying to hit 128. Over 128...then that's an issue. Post your SM numbers with the engine warmed up in Park.

I know the off the shelf 3200 NL PTC sucks for slip rate...guarant eed the LU is even worse. I highly doubt you can lock it, unless this is a custom built convertor. If it's an off the shelf LU...you'll blow through it. I ran 2 different LU convertors...t he clutch didn't last long locked. Eric can lock the convertor via his chip for you. 1st gear fueling will be pig rich on his default setting. I usually see 02's in the 830-850 range. I have vids on how to change fuel/timing for his 5.7 chip. I'd change high gear fueling in the staging lanes to keep the car on its dial if there was a temp/humidity change from the previous round. 5.7 gives you a 20 percent window for fueling...and Eric has aggressive mode. Just jump the low gear timing 1 degree and it kicks in. Getting these cars through the first 330 is everything.

Matt uses Circle D Convertors...s o it's got that going for it...and you sorting it out. I've had a few TR's since I built the new shop...and I'm not talking about what I was handed. There's a ton of TR owners that should stick to carb/distributor.

Good morning and Happy Monday to all. Firstly I'm disturbed by Mike Christensen's passing. I had a good relationship with Mike and he will be truly missed. Casper's took care of me, as it turns out the buffer module itself was wired wrong. No more VSS codes. I dropped the tank over the weekend and installed a new pump and fuel sending unit. The car is idling a little rich after the swap so I'll have to adjust my idle numbers. The car is driving pretty good but I still don't have lock up function. Now that I think about it, I'm not even sure the car went into overdrive. I'll drive it again when I get home so I can verify. I love these cars despite the pain in the butt they are. The quick disconnect fittings are nice

Idling rich? What are you running? 5.7? 6.1? Stock ECM? Once again, piss on LU convertors. Takes very little to swap a transmission to NL. Like turbos, convertor technology has jumped leaps and bounds. Post a SM /PL file with the engine warmed up in Park.

If all else fails. Right Stuff and a crowbar. Oh, and piss on LU convertors.

Jeremy, grab a cheapass trailer like I had. Came from Indiana. Got it for 6 grand at zero percent interest at the time. I never worried about blowing the car up cuz I could shove it on the trailer and bring it home. If you only hit the track occasioanlly, then Uhaul is the hot ticket to rent a trailer. Trailer I had was 20 foot. The original tires were nylon. Only lasted a season. Keep an eye on that when buying.

Phil I'll pick you up with my lifted truck. Steve's done enough chilling. We'll hook a chain on him and haul his ass off his lazy boy and put him to work.

Brad - I can’t keep up as it is.
While I enjoy working on cars - it’s not something I want to do as a job nor will my body let me

Like Steve, I fully understand.

Jeremy...you have a natural talent for working on vehicles. Throw an ad on Craigslist or whatever you have there and you'll be swamped with work.
