Does he ALWAYS wear the bucket? I kinda think that SOME of the feeling isn't being conveyed because you can't see his facial expressions.

Amazing guitarist hough..
I really like the bucket/mask. Instead of guys like Slipknot who are trying to impress you with their oh-so-scary masks, Big B honestly is about it being about the music rather than himself. And I have seen him tear off some breath taking solos and it's almost eerie that his face remains completely emotionless with that blank stare.

As for Hendrix's effects line up, there was more to it than that.
I can't currently remember the guys name who used to build
them for him. But back in the day his effects setup was about the size of two refridgerators . Most of the stuff was made with tubes to boot. So it
was rather cumbersome. That stuff was always setup out of sight.
Kinda top secret.  :supz:

Years ago, a buddy and I were messin' around with our guitars.
Changin' pickups and stuff. On this particular night, we were using
a cordless screwdriver. With the guitar plugged in, it made a really cool noise.
I said to him, I'm going to use that when I record my next song. Damn it !
Van Halen comes out with a new song, where he uses an electric drill to make the exact same noise. I was pissed...

Get a guitar with humbuckers and shitty shielding. Turn up the gain and shoot your remote control at it.

Paul Gilbert persevered and found a new way to use a drill on guitar (I'm sure Makita was paying him for it, too). so you can too. The Detonators in the Rhoads are super hot and will pick up the signal of someone calling me a split second before the phone starts to ring.
