I'm posting this for an update and to save myself embarrassment. As most here probably know Jason has bought the GN (herein known as Black Phoenix) and will give it a better home than I could anyway. What most of you don't understand is the value insurance money I had on her is almost depleted to engineer and attorney fees. I wrestled with letting her go and watching her peeled away to reveal the half assed things I did to keep her on the track, I could have taken the value insurance and saved the embarrassment. So now that time has passed, go ahead and beat me up (jokingly). I never had any intentions to make her a street or show piece. We had Thomas bracket race at Maple Grove in a Jr. Dragster since he was 9 and we made the poor decision of trying to continue the hobby in a GN. We loved the Maple Grove track life, the Buick track life and all that goes with it. We made friends in MAGNA that more than likely we won't see anymore. I will continue to follow here though, because I've met so many of you and get a kick out of the humor. I don't have any more turbo cars but still have two supercharged cars, so I feel I still qualify. I'll be 62 in June, fireworks are still my main passion but I'm excited to see Jason's relentless energy bring the Black Phoenix to life.

I can only speak on the VA.  Met with them in August of 2018 to have blood work and physical completed.  Was referred to the TBI center for follow up.  For those that aren't aware, I had to land a chinook when I didn't really want to over in Iraq back in 2005 and I bounced my head around the cockpit a little bit upon touchdown.  Appointment was set for 28 Dec 2018.  I was contacted on 12 Dec 2018 and told that the appointment needed to be rescheduled due to one of the physicians having a family emergency.  I thought the reason to be a bit vague as the appointment was still a few weeks away but ok.  Appointment was rescheduled for sometime in May 2019.  So now I wait...
That's BS, they screw you guys around way too much.

I was chatting with Ken and I think the date may have changed to May 11th.

I completely doubt there will ever be a low 5 second pass out of the limited. Maybe, and hesitate to use the word maybe, a mid to lower 6 second pass in the 1/8th
The Black one will do it.

Take care of her, she's financing engineering and attorney fees.

Lean codes won't make it go into limp in mode. APP sensors at the gas pedal and the TPS sensors at the throttle body will

Got home this afternoon and started in on the 86 GN. First things first... Seats and carpet are out. Thanks for the tools and change Gary!  Adding floor plans to the list
Yea, like it didn't hurt enough. None of that is mine.

I guess feeling cheated by poor land and storm water management, there is no satisfaction at all. It isn't always about the money. The fight has just begun.
