Guess what? After having been burned on Ebay for an item never sent to me, I learned that you can forget about getting any help from any of the "authorities" (Ebay, States attorney generals, BBB, etc), so do whatever you have to do, I say

Yea - It all leans way too hevy on the consumer side. It's the same when dealing with Visa, MC, etc - the burden of proof is on the vendor, and sometimes even if you do do everything right, you still get stuck with the chargeback.
Sucks.

He said do do.

Actually, some dude from a "Legitimate" company sold me a York Olympic weightlifting bar, and never sent it. I contacted Ebay, my state attorney general, his state attorney general, BBB, blah blah blah...to no avail. OK, so I just kept writing letters here, there, and everywhere, blah blah blah...so I finally get a letter, and a check, from the dude's mom. Apparently, the company was a one man show, things fell apart, and his mother claimed the dude went crazy (literally) over it. Supposedly was completely uncommunicativ e. Man, can I pick em. :cool;

eBay is now taking 10%, I believe. somebody needs to give them some serious competition

That was a great story. Fuck that bitch. She came up with the money only when she thought she could flip the tickets for a quick profit.
