General Buick Tech / Upper A Arm Removal

Getting ready to install 12" brakes and do the vacuum conversion on my GN.  Quick question, do the upper arms come off by just removing the nuts on the cross shaft or will the headers be in the way and need to come off also?  Looks real tight and would rather find out now as opposed to when I am trying to get the control arms off when I am knee deep in brake fluid.

General Buick Tech / Where to buy a Powermaster Accumulator

Looking for input on where to get a new accumulator for my powermaster.  Going on Power Tour week after next and the brake light has decided to start flickering when I apply the brakes.  So I need one fast, and preferably cheap.  OK, stop laughing now as I do know I am driving a GN and no parts are cheap!  I was overseas for 5 years and a lot of the vendors I used to use have gone out of business.  Seems like the only guys left are the ones I have never used or the ones I did not like to use.  So any suggestions appreciated.

General Buick Tech / additional leg room

Doing th Power Tour this year and so I am looking for some additional leg room. Year One sells some universal brackets that look like they might work. They are some flat plates with holes, nothing I probably could not make myself. The issue I see is one of the studs in the front does not seem  to have much grip length.  Any opinions on moving the seat back a few inches? 2400 miles with extra leg room would be nice. Next up is getting the a/c working!

Transmissions / Shift Kit Installed-questions on how it now shifts

Got my b&m shift kit installed and took it out for a spin.  Its now holding first gear much longer under light throttle and hitting second gear pretty hard.  I backed off the tv cable a couple of clicks and that improved things some.  Rest of  the gears seem more normal but still holding the 1-2  shift a little long and a little jerky on the shift under light throttle.  Nice shifts under aggressive throttle.  Is this normal or should I play with the tv cable adjustment some more?  Before I backed it off the first time it would not go into od at all.  All seems normal now with exception of the 1-2 shift.

Transmissions / Boost Valve

I am installing a shift kit and new lockup solenoid.  Was wondering if it would make sense to add the 0.500 boost valve while I am at it, or is more not necessarily better?

Hopefully someone on this forum can help me out.  As stated in the subject, I have a sick GN.  I have been trying to sort this out off and on for the last 2 months.  Below is what I have done to date.

-replaced plugs (twice)
-checked full pressure
 -replaced plug wires
 -new O2 sensor
 -new fuel filter
-checked resistance between engine and battery negative post
-checked exhaust manifold temps with infrared temp gun
 -new Coil Pack (Accel)
 -new ignition module (Standard LX338)
 -checked compression and all within 5psi
 -verified signal to injector 4 was present (node light)
 -had injectors backflushed and flow checked (checked out OK when he received them)
-moved injector that came out of cylinder 4 to different cylinder, no. 4 still not firing

I am not sure where to go from here.  Any and all suggestions welcome!
