Title: hot cold blend door
Post by: Shimy87 on May 04 2021, 11:50:15 AM
Well this weekend slid the hot/cold lever over to hot. later go to slid it back to cold and feel some resistance then it slides to cold but no cold air :O looks like the cable connects to a v shaped plastic arm that moves the door. Well the plastic V broke where the cable connects. It also appears you need to remove the entire dash to replace that part :013:

Anyone run into this dilema?

Didn't back then.PLA is not that strong.Would have to beef it up. Sending it out is actually fairly cheap tho

Mine went many years ago & I drilled it out a bit & used a nut & bolt that's still working fine. Altho having the right part is always nice.
