Went to a local cruise in last night Took a walk around to see some of the buicks and when I walk back to mine some douchebag is under the hood. Ran off when I yelled at him.

Moral of the story: Say nothing until you're right behind them.If they leave before you get there,close the hood and track them down.

Heard of a guy went to a car show and left the car and walk around, came back a while later and left the show at the end of the day, notice on the way home losing oil pressure, come to find out later some one put sand down one of his chrome breathers and killed his motor.

Glad we are a car crazy city! You don't hear of stuff like that every happening here. There are car thieves here but never have I heard of anyone purposely damaging another person's car at the Show and Shines or track.

Saw a GN here in St. Louis here last weekend. Took a pic and posted on the tb.com Facebook site. Folks went ape shit about my post saying I was just asking for people to come and steal it. I didn't even think about it that way. Just was interested in meeting a fellow turbo buick guy. Deleted the post.
Thank goodness shit like that doesn't happen in my part of the world. Seems that criminals have more rights than victims these days. I guess I better stop leaving the keys in the floor boards of all my vehicles. Then again... Fuck em! You want to steal my shit or mess with any of my stuff? Jason, that is because in our part of the world, a beating hurts. Goofing with another persons belongings gets a beating. Don't be stupid and you wont have that kind of problem.
Or as my Dad used to say, "Don't start none , and there won't be none."

Last October my rig was stolen from in front of my house. GN, trailer and truck...gone. I put a 5 grand reward up on every media going...and had a name within 5 days. Myself and 2 friends lit out to the location with crowbars in hand. He's lucky he wasn't there when we arrived. Mess with my stuff...and I'll fuck you up.

So I don't know how many of you follow AgearHead4Life but back in 2013 he had his first project truck stolen from a mall here in Huntsville. He got it back this week. It was at a junk yard near the house here.

Man they picked the body clean off the frame. Guys like that are not 1st timers & are hard to catch. Even when they do auto theft is not a crime where they would get a jail sentence unless it's their 3rd or 4th time going in front of a judge. You have to keep agreed value insurance these days or you will get screwed up here.
