3" stainless setup.

I'm told pypes makes a 2.5" system that is pretty nice.

What happened that you only need the y pipe?

Put a Hooker setup on my GN when I first got it. Cheap...but it fit and had correct turbo mufflers with it.

Hi, Just letting your know I went to the muffler shop to cut and weld a new offset section of both pipes and they did a good job.
Now I'm fighting with putting everything together which is not easy doing it by yourself. Today I finally got all together except for both tail pipes which needs to be extended since I cut off close to the factory weld, buy still needs the extension.
 Thanks for your help, Julio

Looks good. Laying on your back under these cars sucks.

It may look by a tuff job doing it by myself, but nothing can compare to when I had to replace the transmission by myself.
I jacked the car as high is it can go, but still I had to till the tranny downward to clear the tranny's bell housing. Then while underneath is went I installed the torque converter.
The only good thing I did was given my wife a set of sound proof headset, of not to head me on my moments of few words. :013:
The only thing I have to do is go back to the muffler shop so they can weld an extension pipe to the tail pipe. Once I finalize all I will post to you again (if possible being underneath) some pictures of the complete exhaust system.

Interesting, At what age did you do the tranny thing?
Did you have a lift, or just use floor jack?

Good to hear, I'm 67 and the only time I did tranny work is when I was young working with my mechanic father doing a 1960 Cadillac tranny on the driveway in the winter. I learned from him, and today I thank my old man for teaching me a lot of mechanical stuffs, as this save me a lot of money, and knowing I'm doing the work correctly.
