Deep breath, Mark! LOL    You are simply biased by reality

Yep - Just tired of the shielding and coddling, and simultaneously finally speaking my mind about putting vendors on a pedestal just because they sell parts for our "rare" cars.
Sheesh, aside from a handful of appearance items, and a few mechanical pieces, parts are available all over.

Quite a few played the game for years (some still do), buy standard parts, obfuscate the MFG info, sell it as your own, hide real MFG PN on web site images, charge 300% over cost, claim it's "rare".
Or simply drop ship 90% of their parts, simply shuffling inventory around.
Sell an item as "TR-specific", when it's a standard Dorman/Motormite PN
Etc

Now, that being said - there are many vendors that are innovators, and provide an amazing service to the TR community.. The ads you see on this site are there because they excel in service, value, and community involvement. I'm not talking about the dropshippers, I mean real, involved ones.
In no certain order, many missed, some intentionally:
Full Throttle Speed
Racetronix (Internet ignorance is killing their TR interest/lines/SKUs)
Casper's
NOS4GN
SpoolFool
GNSPerformance
AlkyControl
TR Custom
Mike's Monte's
Dixie Monte Carlo
Etc..

But - to save a buck, and knowing Brian's history (or not doing a bit of homework), people still order from him, taking a sale from many truly valuable vendors.

People will sacrifice a well known exceptional customer service/quality track record to save a buck.

I guess I came late to the buick scene.  Don't know anything about tools and downpipes.

I am in awe of the responses for and against this fella and the emotion that it is stirring

Well, when your friends get burned, your internet friends get burned and the incidents seem to get swept under the rug, especially when it involves someone's hard earned money it illicits some big emotion.

I'm trying not to pile on, but I've seen enough to have never ordered anything from them. Probably never will. Just too many others that do provide excellent service, remedy any problems and provide decent parts for the money.

I'm with supersix, this stuff Isn't rocket science. Parts is parts and if you  put in a little effort can be had cheaper.

funny how some  can judge, WITHOUT any facts,
burned regal?      some doubt about what caused that?  or were you there?
I'm not siding with anyone, just prefer to NOT show my ignorance by judging before the facts are in.

I gave him business and sent business his way but no more!  It isn't ignorance it is repeated action that brings people to conclusions.  Clay has always been straight forward and honest but you can't say that about the other party.

Shark has been jumped.

I don't know. We don't have a conviction, a sentence, just an arrest. Kinda weak, shoot, ive been to jail. The jump might be set up but the boat hasn't even been put into the water, though they are at the boat ramp.

I heard he removed some of his property from a locked toolbox of a ex-employee that was stealing from him, but that can be way off base, or a load of crap  :102:

course.... if I don't know the facts, I shouldn't be saying anything.
but.... it is the internet  :chin:

I bought two hard parts from B.W. One was a turbo drain back pipe. The part I received did not look like his picture in the part description. The part was of no use. I came to the conclusion that what he sold to me had almost no engineering or common sense in the part whatsoever. The guy has a sad life.

its painfully obvious some of you are so biased, and just plain jealous of  Gbody,
that is your option, but to promote this in a public forum, isn't  the smartest thing to do.
we all have opinions, and "freedom of speech" allows all of us to voice that opinion. (to a point)
I'm just glad I don't have to be around you. as it must be pretty miserable!
I've stated my experiences with G Body (all good)  but some of you just will not let it go!
your actions here pretty much shows your mentality, and mind set.
