Wow. That's some really shitty welding. Coming from GBodyParts, I'm not surprised the quality is below par. Sorry for your loss, Dave.Brian will probably tell you the shocks are too stiff.
Not really. It depends on the method of manufacturing and matereal used. That's why I hope to get the broken lowers off Gordy. My nephew does NDT and I want to put them under some testing and make jigs off of them so I can make a set for myself that will hold up to what I want to do. The factory lowers are good for most things because they flex some and are capable of doing fine for most people, but I like to push things a bit.
