Lol, they are def money pits, but they are amazing to drive. I don't have windows 10 available to me yet. I'll find a way to resize the pics though. For some reason the TR is a perfect balance between problems and fun. Lol. It's all worth it when they're running right, and I've owned mine for quite a bit of time and it's never ran right. LMAO

As I type this, I look at the subject line again and realize it sounds like an actual holiday. Lol. Here in the Saint Louis area I'm part of the buick group/club and last Sunday turned out to be perfect. We meet once a month, and this past meeting we captured a couple of photos of the cars everyone brought. I attempted to upload a photo, but it's too large. We all met at Grafton Winery, and I can't express how beautiful the scenery was. The majority of the group showed up and we had a great time. I actually considered going to Bowling Green next weekend. We'll see though. I'm looking to buy another motor/block because I'm certain mine needs some work. If I find a way to reformat the pics, I'll be sure to add them to this thread. I hope all of you fine fellow Buick/non buick owners are doing well.  :atbeer:

Also, I'm very unfamiliar with what this pinch weld is that you all speak of. I'll ask one of the guys here to show me. Thanks again for your help. You are the man as always

I'll see if I can find some instructions on youtube or something on changing those motor mounts out

Thank you so much for you response Steve. Looks like my car will be a garage queen again for a bit. Lol. Between the mounts and the body bushings, I have a ton of work ahead of me. Hopefully I can do the work myself to save some money. I'm ok with spending the money on the motor mounts if they last. I'd prefer not to have to do that job more than once.

Understood. So are the springs a possible issue as well? I mean, my car sits really really low due to worn springs.

I'll check after work to verify. If it does, that means that both mounts should probably be replaced?

Good morning gents! There is no better place to go for legit advice and good convo than here. I just installed a new DP on my car and noticed that it sits on my A-arm a bit. I thought it was an issue of the new DP, but then I looked at my stock DP and noticed a dent around the same area. Needless to say this is an issue, so I'm wondering what needs to be done to fix this? I'm confident that the motor mounts have probably never been changed, and my springs are super shot. What do you fine gents think?

sheesh, just seeing this post. Your schedule is worse than that of a Doctor. There is a ton of stuff going on this weekend here locally. The track has two events going on as well as the meet and greet tonight for the street car takeover tomorrow. They should have food there as well as a dyno, car show, etc in Chesterfield. If I can get this exhaust back together I plan to cruise up there and check it out.

I'm always ready for a drink man. I don't have much faith in you sticking around, but my fingers are crossed that I'm wrong on that topic.

The alky kit was a future investment anyway, it made no sense to search for race gas in the area for testing...

I also think it's important to note that the reason I bought the alky kit was to test my O2's in third at the same boost. If my car cant run properly at 17lbs of boost with a little alky sprayed, there is a problem anyway. There is no point in an alky chip until I get everything else running and tuned properly. Fast forward to the present, we come to learn that my passenger side header is cracking, which explains the lean O2's in third gear at any boost level, whether 12lbs or 17lbs.
