Running into a conundrum with the windshield wipers. Dr side working. Pass side wont take a full swipe. Leaves out the middle. I bent the arm a bit to give it more tension and tried some different bows and wiper blades but it just does the edges of the wiper blade. I guess the arm has lost tension. Can I change the spring(where is that obtained)? Get a new arm and swap the spring over to the black arm?
Your thoughts.
TIA

The base is probably broken and it won't stay down hard against the windiheld.  Good look because the drivers sides are common and still available.  Passenger's are no go.

That third one 'poof' reminded me of call of duty.
Bird looked like it afterwards too

I imagine you spent a lot more time on training than I did to just get my lab to get the newspaper from the end of the drive. I wouldn't know where to begin.
B-gun?

Not so much.  Ox (Minga's Bullet Slightly Oxidized) is a bit of a natural like his daddy and granddaddy.  I just reinforce the tendencies that are already there.  That little stunt he pulls where he circles around to head off a running bird would probably get him kicked out of a formal field trial.  But it gets birds so it's fine by me

I did something similar for different reasons.  I got tired of having the A/C hose rub on the filter and rub a hole in it.  Figured if the hose could rub a hole in the filter then the reverse was possible too (Giggity).

My goal was to get the filter over toward the fender and away from the hoses.  As a plus I picked up a bung for the IAT.

I didn't build in anything to box it off.  I guess it helps some with IAT but sitting still in traffic it still climbs to over 120.

Couple of years ago I got a gopro for use at the racetrack.  Latley I've been carrying it either on a dog harness or headband while bird hunting.

Here are a few from this past weekend.

I scrapped some metal a couple months ago and got $3 per HUNDRED pounds.  Clean aluminum was 35 cents a pound.

...and I had to let them copy my license while i stood in front of a camera waiting on my check (not cash).

What an odd theft.  Sounds almost like a huge unfunny prank.

I sold a bunch of brake rotors (150LBS) , An old Chevy Truck Driveshaft (5 lbs) and a brass heater where rockauto sent the wrong one and got $22

$10 was from the driveshaft and $10 was from the heater core.

General Buick Tech / Re: Is a TT6.1 worth the extra money of the 5.7?
« on: January 09 2017, 07:18:41 PM »
Earl, I would highly recommend the 6.1 if you are not considering SD2.  My only regret of buying the 6.1 is that I didn't go straight to SD2.

It does what it says it will do.  On my unopened longblock 10.99 and 11.07 passes my fuel pressure was off around 12-15 psi where it should have been with my weak pump.  The 6.1 added a ton of fuel and kept the AFR where it needed to be and I got no knock.  The wideband tracking works.

No trees were harmed in the sending of this message, however, a significant number of electrons were terribly inconvenienced .

I like mine.  Usually it's just set the A/F and forget it. You just have to be carefull to keep it in the "correction window" by setting the base fuel.

I popped the extra money for the 6.1. I just couldn't justify the extra cheeze for the SD.  If it would have been close to the same money I would have went that route. More money and more work isn't my idea of a good time.

What's odd is USPS ran today (Sunday) and I got my chip....   with today's high of 40F. Needless to say, it's sitting on my couch. :)
