What a hunk of crap. But I see a lot of potential, is it a 4x4? Is that a transfer case I see? What do you want to do to it? Go get some black primer and rattle can it for now. I miss having a truck. :( Please don't put a cowl hood on it.

Here's some sheet metal and trim parts: www.goodmarkin dustries.com/HomePage.html

Call them for a catalog, it's illustrated.

It's a well known fact that an upside down air cleaner lid is worth 80 HP and 200 ft-lbs of torque. I'm a sucker for old checvy pick-ups. You should never pay more than $250 for them, though. How about a '89 4X4 full size Bronco to go with it? Best offer.

lmao. the truck in not a 4x4, and yes its a 3/4 ton. and it will tow like a dream, i hadda pull an 01 sierra outta the mudd afew days ago... he broke a rod after trying to become a submarine. and i also towed him to the nearest shop... bout 10 miles. no prob. but its a beast of a truck. motor needs to be replaced b4 any serious mudding but it runs for now. as for the gun rack... no need, i hunt with my bumper. u get more animals that way anyhow.

What? What secret info?!?!?!? WHY DOES IT GIVE 200lbs torque?!!?!?
Title: Re: new toy

because the inverted air cleaner doesnt restrict the incoming air charge.  Everyone knows more air more power.  Its kinda like rice and stickers it just works.  Damn Robert just let the powers of the universe work like they are supposed to lol

My old 69 Nova SS had the 'ole upside down lid trick. Sounds cooler when the Rochester Quadrajet kicks in the secondaries. Upside down air cleaner and Cherry Bomb mufflers was all it took to go fast. I don't hink I ever did buy a chrome air cleaner for that thing. Now I'm getting all misty eyed. :sad;

What manifold/carb are you going use?

In my El Camino I just took the air cleaner off. Then one day I backfired a 4160 and set the headliner on fire. That was the first of two car-b-q's in that thing.

Dude, I've been planning to build up one of those (short bed) for a while now that mimmicks one that a buddy of mine had years ago. IMO, best truck body style ever.

i dunno what carb. all i know is its a 650. as for manifold, i know it will take a 4brl... lol as for the truck being the best body style... i like it... its big and STEEL! so i can do alot of off roading and it will hold up.
