Title: New toy
Post by: DCEPTCN on November 11 2006, 01:10:28 PM
The repair place called and said it would be $900 to fix my multitracker.. ..I told them to go to hell. Instead, I jumped on this kick-ass deal. It showed up last night....freak in' killer. Uncle Sylvan is back in action.

Thats fucking awesome. The 24 track that I have has come down in price.
Its a Tascam 2488. They're selling for $750 now. I just found a company
called Mixer Muse that sells software to automate it. It hooks up through the
midi port. Its on my to do list.

The repair place said $900 to fix my old one....um, I bought it NEW for $899, so fuck that. The hard drive is fine, but who cares? I didn't want to redo things, but now I can redo them BETTER than before, so it's ON.

This new one is dis-gust-ing capable....
