Ok, I know this is another booze thread, but I tried this one beer last night for the first time and it was not too bad. ....... it was Michelob Ultra....anyon e tried it.
-
Hmm, lets see, coors lt, old E, bush lt, modello, coronas w/ limes on a hot ass sunny day
-
I like just about all of the Sam Adams beers except the fruit flavored ones.
-
I like beer. I like it cold. When broke, it's High Life, in the 32 oz. bottles. When broke and in need of a kick in the teeth, it's Steel Reserve 211!
But, when I'm feeling a good brew, I've been drinking Stella Artois lately.
-
I drink a 12'er of the Ultra pretty much every night of the week. I decided that when you're drinking beer every night it's prolly a good idea to get the really light stuff......and just drink twice as much. Try Aspen Edge- low carb light beer and WAY better than the Ultra. It's got plenty of flavor (more than most light beers) but has a dry, almost champagne-like quality to it. I stopped drinking it because they discontinued making it in 12 packs and it's just wrong to make a dude carry 2 6'ers.
Coors is the best beer in the world and fuck anybody who disagrees. The Colorado Kid has spoken.
-
I too like Coors. I just need to find it......
-

Thats my bosses weapon of choice.
I'm going to a wedding later today, so we'll see what I experiment with tonight....

I've returned from the festivities.
I started off with an Alabama Slammer, and finished with champagne.
All is good.

The two extremes in my fridge in the basement right now.....Keysto ne Premium (Coors product, cheap beer) and Sam Adams Boston Lager (expensive beer). All of the Sam Adams are pretty good EXCEPT the Scotch Ale....I dare anyone here to drink a six of it. It's by far the worst tasting beer I've ever tasted......in cluding bad home brew spruce beer. I also like Otter Creek Copper Ale, Pete's Wicked Winter Ale (not readily available last winter), Long Trail Tram Ale, Negro Modello and Pacifico for Mexican beer, Molson Export, Molson Stock Ale, Smuttynose, Magic Hat or anyother of the fine local or regional micros. Oh, and FRESH Guiness from the tap.
-
I need a beer now...
-
I am drinking one now......

That is the one cool thing about New England. We have an overabundance of
microbreweries here. There used to be on here in Derry called "Nutfield Brewery",
but I think they may have gone out of buisness. They used to be next door to NAPA
on Manchester Rd. I may still have a few bottles left in the back of my fridge.
-
Stockpile! I love it.

I had 3 cigars tonight. You guys might remember back last year when
a friend of mine had died. Tonight a group of us had spread his ashes into the ocean.
At first, I was kinda weirded out by the whole thing. But, after we were done it was actually a calming experience. I had a couple cigars while we were at the beach, and another when I got back into town. Aside from that, I've had a few things
happen aroun here some good and some bad. I may start a new thread for that though.
-
Do it man. No life without death and vice versa.
-
Cool deal on spreading the friends ashes; I tell everyone that's what I want done.:atbeer:
-
A wise man once said that the only real immortality is the memories that we leave with our loved ones. Either that or a stone that pitifully proclaims "I Was Here". I'm more interested in the memories.
I tip a beer to you and your friend's memory, Rob.
-
Me as well. Couldn't've put it better myself.
