Title: Bleeder valve question

Ok, well the new engine is starting to gain miles, about 4-500 now .time to put some boost to it. it's set at 14psi now. and I went to open the bleed valve to raise boost but It didnt climb, I went almost 1/2 turn and on the way home from work noticed only 14 psi. how much does this need to be turned??

Try turning some more a little at a time until you see some boost rise.
