Title: I need a cheap laptop

I don't have a disk, it was preloaded on the laptop when I got it. My
only bitch with 2000 pro, is that it won't work with alot of programs. I'd
often get strange errors when installing stuff, but whatever it would install would
work fine.

A friend is having the same problem as you are...I wonder what the problem is? It cant be the OS can it? I've literatly installed a couple hundred programs at least and they always worked.

I got a widescreen last year for $599 and it came with wireless card, DVD/CDRW,free printer, and free shipping. Haven't had any problems with it.

Robert, when installing some programs, I'd get an "A drive not present error".
So, I'd hook up the cable to the A drive and the error would change to"such and such file not present in my pictures" Really weird. McAfee Antispyware and
Ulead digital video both did that. Definately 2000 pro.

But let me tell you again when i say basic....you get the picture. My dad gave it to me last year so i could run turbo link. It didnt run it so i dont need it. You want it its yours.
