Title: Got a call today
Post by: Recklessrob on July 15 2006, 07:35:43 PM: Jim Ttype83 called today. His new car did 14.6 at the strip last
night. He was running rich and had traction problems. probably due
to poor track prep. Good Job ! Mine ran 15's the first time that I took it
to the track.

Earl is 150lbs..I'm up to 160lbs..17psi boost .. 60' times from 2.2-2.4

Post by: Ttype83 on July 22 2006, 03:48:09 PM: I fixed the uppipe leak..yes I took off the braket this time. I also looped off about 1/8" off the stock actuator..it was maxed at 16psi. Next will be a bleed valve.

They ask who much boost I was running, told them only 18psi...they were stuned by 18psi. Offered a girl I work with a ride and she flat out refused, said these cars scare the crap out of her :rofl; One was a duffus, said he almost bought a GNX in 99..you know the one with the twin turbo... Told him no GNX or GN came with twins...duffus!
Twin turbos guys...now get your minds out of the gutter

He runs mid 12's on slicks and low to mid 13's on the street. So I have made progress. Got to go pack now 7am flight out to philly.
